After the season, another life begins!
As September draws to a close and the last caravans leave the campsite, a completely different rhythm sets in at our campsite in the Puy-de-Dôme region.
Silence gradually returns, nature catches its breath… but for the team, it’s the start of a new mission: to maintain, repair, imagine and recharge our batteries… come and discover what goes on behind the scenes at La Chauderie campsite.
Out of season, the campsite is transformed into a veritable care and preparation site.
Maintaining our green spaces
Alleys, hedges and lawns need attention after the summer.
This is the time to mow, prune, clean and give the campsite a fresh look before winter.
The aim: to preserve the natural setting that is the charm of La Chauderie, a riverside campsite where every detail counts.
Minor technical repairs
Off-season is also the time for minor repairs: checking connections, maintaining electrical terminals, checking installations.
Every detail counts to guarantee the comfort and safety of holidaymakers at the next opening.
These efforts directly benefit our comfortable accommodation in the Auvergne, whether in chalets, mobile homes or on pitches.
Improvements for even greater comfort
The campsite also welcomes external service providers for more extensive work: installation and stabilization of new mobile homes, servicing and development of pitches, improvements to general comfort. These are important steps in the evolution of the campsite, year after year, to offer modern and practical services to all our guests(see our accommodation).
Taking time for yourself
After the season, we also take the time to recharge our batteries.
A moment of relaxation at the spa, a coffee in the sun, a stroll on the lake or simply indulge your passions (sewing: see my creative cocoon O Chalet d’Hei)…
Because before getting back to work, it’s important to take a breather and enjoy the mountains in a different way.
That’s what our Sancy campsites are all about.
Nature reclaims its rights
While the tools rest, nature goes on with its life.
Animals return discreetly: a curious fox crosses the pitches, a squirrel scurries between two fir trees.
It’s these little magical moments that remind us why we love living here so much.
